Special and/or sensitive personal data we process
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years, unless they have permission from parents or guardians. However, we cannot verify if a visitor is over 16 years old. Therefore, we recommend parents to be involved in their children’s online activities to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without permission, please contact us at info@sovix.nl, and we will delete this information.
For what purpose and on what basis we process personal data
We use your data exclusively for the purpose of our services. This means that the purpose of processing is always directly related to the assignment you have provided. We also use your data for (targeted) marketing.
If you share data with us and we use this data to contact you at a later time – other than at your request – you can request that we delete your data.
Your data is not shared with third parties, except when they are related to our services and you are a customer of ours. These third parties are all bound to confidentiality on the basis of an oath or legal obligation.
Automated decision-making
We do not make decisions about matters that could have (significant) consequences for individuals based on automated processing. This concerns decisions made by computer programs or systems, without any human intervention.
However, the offering of our newsletter does involve automated decision-making. This is based on the user’s interest and the provision of an email address.
Data that is automatically collected by our website is processed for the purpose of further improving our services. This data (such as your IP address, web browser, and operating system) is not considered personal data.
Cooperation with tax and criminal investigations
In certain cases, we may be required by law to share your information in connection with fiscal or criminal investigations carried out by the government. In such a case, we are compelled to share your information, but we will resist this to the extent possible within the limits of the law.
Invoicing and Accounting
We make use of the services of third parties to maintain our administration and accounting. Your data is used to administer sales invoices. Your personal data is sent and stored securely. We have taken the necessary technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorized use. We are obliged to maintain confidentiality and will treat your data confidentially. We do not use your personal data for purposes other than described above.
How long we keep personal data
We do not keep your personal data longer than strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. When you no longer use our services, we apply a retention period of 2 years.
On the basis of applicable administrative obligations, we are required to keep invoices with your (personal) data. We will therefore keep this data for as long as the applicable term is running. However, unauthorized employees no longer have access to your client profile and documents that we have produced in response to your assignment.
Sharing personal data with third parties
We do not sell your data to third parties and only provide it if necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We conclude a processor agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. We remain responsible for these processing operations.
